Babybel

This famous pressed cow’s cheese was inspired by the Dutch cheese Edam. Babybel was created in 1931. Babybel is available as individual portions in a mesh bag or in a family size format. The red wax shell and the small size of the individual portions make it perfect for snacking and picnics. Although it is an industrial cheese, Babybel requires a month of maturation before it can be sold.

Bel

Round cheese covered by a thick red wax shell that comes off very easily. The cream-colored paste is very homogenous, smooth and dense, with no holes.
