Born in Pont-à-Mousson and the son of baker, SÉBASTIEN GAUDARD has lived up to his Lorraine heritage. In his baking, he revisits the classics taught by his father, reuses moulds and reproduces heritage recipes taken from the family's pastry archives. His Pâtisserie des Martyrs, which was opened in 2011, keeps traditional French recipes in line with modern tastes. Recognised as a supreme talent in 2010, Sébastien has not forgotten his years directing in Fauchon, nor his experience at Délicabar du Bon Marché (established with the designer Claudio Colucci): his sleek and contemporary style has never lost any of its elegant touch.
