Kiri

The famous « cheese for gourmet kids » is a soft processed cheese enriched with cream. It was created in 1966 in Sablé in the département of Sarthe. It is intended to be spread, and geared towards children in particular. Kiri® is a registered trademark of the Bel Group which manufactures products to be distributed worldwide. This cheese is sold in an aluminum wrapper in square portions of 1.5 inch on each side.
Today, a full range of Kiri® products are available:
– Kiri Poche® (the ancestor of Kiri Golo®), a small, easy-to-carry container of Kiri
– Kiri Goûter®, with a small container of crunchy wheat crackers to be dipped in Kiri®
– Kiri® with mild goat’s cheese, the cheese that combines the creaminess of Kiri® with a mild goaty taste

Smooth, bright white, very homogenous paste

Paste with a very fine texture that melts in the mouth, and a very mild, fresh, creamy taste.
